■ Charging the battery
1. Open the strap of Medallion I (see
Connecting and disconnecting the strap of
Medallion I
on page
10
) and connect the charger to the socket.
2. Connect the charger to an AC wall socket.
While charging, the battery indicator is shown on the display. After approx. five
seconds Medallion I switches the power off but the charging continues.

have not used Medallion I for a long period, charge the device for at least five
minutes before any information appears on the display.
